Brenden Escott is a sports media personality currently hosting Inside Sports and Edmonton Oilers pre- and post-game coverage on 880 CHED radio in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He has been with CHED and its parent company Corus Entertainment since September 2018.

Inside Sports runs Monday-Friday from 6-8 p.m. MT on 880 CHED, where Brenden features analysis and insights into the sports scene in Edmonton and across the globe.
Brenden's mornings are spent at the hockey rink on the Edmonton Oilers beat, collecting information and audio for the Face-Off Show, which he hosts each Oilers game day on CHED. He also hosts Oilers Overtime, the post-game call-in show, alongside former NHLer Rob Brown.
Brenden spent the 2022 and 2023 seasons as host of Edmonton Elks Football on CHED, producing and hosting a 90-minute pre-game show and 60-minute post-game show for all Elks games. In the preceding three seasons, Brenden served as sideline reporter.
Education
Brenden graduated from Thompson Rivers University in his hometown of Kamloops, BC in 2016 with a Bachelor of Journalism degree. Shortly thereafter, he earned a Television diploma with honours from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) in 2018
He is the recipient of multiple scholarships during his time in both programs and relishes the opportunity to provide tutelage to the next generation of broadcasters.
